Monumental Chess Knight: giant chess piece sculpture in resin, 2.07 m
The Monumental Chess Knight is a giant chess piece sculpture in resin by Arson Sculptures, whose original model was sculpted by hand by the artist in Drôme provençale. Standing 2.07 m tall, it brings the most singular piece on the chessboard to a spectacular scale: a horse taller than a man, turning the symbol into a real sculptural statement.
Strategy, power and mastery
The knight carries everything that is noblest in chess: strategy, power, daring. At this scale it is no longer a game piece but a presence. It can also become a monumental trophy, to celebrate a victory, a championship or an event.
A giant chess piece for exceptional places
Its expressive silhouette and outsized dimensions make it a centrepiece for:
a chess club, tournament or championship;
a corporate lobby, a hotel or a public space;
a garden, in the shade, or a large exhibition space;
a private collection of contemporary art.
Handmade
Each Knight is sculpted by hand, then cast in reclaimed resin. Slight variations in shade or finish can appear from one piece to the next: that is the signature of a studio work, not of mass production.

Installation and care
Given its size, this giant chess piece needs a stable, sturdy plinth. To protect its finish, avoid long exposure to direct sunlight, and clean it with a soft dry cloth or soapy water (as you would a car).
