How to choose a contemporary sculpture?
1. Size, location, light
Contemporary Pop Sculpture Galleries
Entrance : a vertical piece or a strong format creates an immediate welcome.
Living room : the sculpture must interact with the furniture, without getting lost or "overwhelming" the room.
Office / professional space: a legible and strong artwork reinforces the identity of the place.
Light : good lighting (natural or spotlight) reveals the material and amplifies the presence.
2. The work must "hold up" both closely… and from afar
A successful sculpture works at two distances: from afar (2–3 meters), it must remain balanced; up close, it must offer materiality, details, tension.
3. Unique work, series, edition: what difference does it make?
Unique piece : guaranteed singularity and uniqueness, often more of a “signature”.
Series / numbering : controlled rarity, consistency, possible variations depending on formats.
A sculpture is not chosen with the eyes alone: it is chosen with discernment.

A contemporary sculpture often becomes the centerpiece of an interior:
It structures the space and attracts the eye.

FAQ – Contemporary Sculptures
What is meant by “contemporary sculpture”?
A contemporary sculpture is a work of our time, conceived using a contemporary language: forms, materials, intention, relationship to space and perception. The term "contemporary" does not apply to a single style. There are a multitude of styles of contemporary art. Without listing them all, here are a few:
Abstract
Contemporary Figurative
Minimalist
Conceptual
Pop / urban
Hyperrealistic
Expressionist
Industrial / metal
Organic / biomorphic
Assembly / mixed materials
Contemporary Pop
Street art
How can I tell if a sculpture will "suit" my home?
Consider three points: volume, light, and reading distance (nearby/far).
If you are looking for a piece of art that suits your space, discover custom-made contemporary sculpture.
Does a sculpture need a base?
It is not mandatory, but often recommended for a sculpture over 50/60 cm high: the base isolates the work by highlighting it, visually elevates it and reinforces its presence in the room.
Can we see the sculptures before buying them?
Yes, by appointment, directly at the studio: seeing a work in person changes everything (scale, material, presence). To understand the process and the stages of creation, visiting the sculptor's studio and sharing with them often fosters an almost intimate relationship.
Do you offer custom-made artwork?
Yes, some sculptures can be designed specifically for a place or project: adaptation, dialogue, validation. To start a project, it's essential to meet the sculptor. Before this crucial meeting, learn more about Arson by consulting the website pages, his blogs, and his biography .
