From Gordes to Gornica, a village destroyed by mass tourism

was inspired by the sad story of this magnificent village that was Gordes, become the shadow of its former self, transformed into a theater set for tourists in search of authenticity. Deserted by its inhabitants, themselves abandoned by a succession of mayors more interested in power and their interests, than the general interest. From second homes more luxurious than the others, to the abuse of mercenary businesses, from mass tourism to inappropriate management, the desertification and death of the village are well advanced.
