🖋️ Undressing the Clichés: The Female Body as a Manifesto

The female body is no longer an object — it becomes a subject.

Gone are the days when curves served as a backdrop for male fantasy. Today, artists like ORLAN, Jenny Saville, and the French artist Miss Tic are taking hold of the body, twisting it, distorting it, and making it speak.

The sculptor Arson gives forms an unsuspected voice: he diverts the conventional gaze towards buttocks that dare to speak, laugh, provoke - a new grammar sculpted in matter.

💥 Nude is no longer a tribute — it's an insurrection

Classical sculpture exalted the female nude with restraint: bodies frozen in icy perfection. In Arson's work, this aesthetic is exploded . His carnal volumes don't flatter, they question. They slam like visual slogans, flirting with the indecent to better reveal the hypocrisy of the gaze.

  • Jenny Saville paints the body in its surgical rawness.

  • ORLAN manipulates her own face to question norms.

  • Arson , for his part, sculpts scandal with subversive mastery. The body becomes dialectic, each buttock a sentence, each curve an opinion.

🧠 When the artist is a woman or a feminist, the perspective changes

The “male gaze” imposes aesthetic canons and submissive postures. Arson's approach opposes a critical and poetic reading of the feminine: He does not sculpt to please, but to disrupt. His gaze is that of an unruly ally, a sculptor who gives voice to volumes that have been censored for too long.

🎭 The spectator exposed

Arson's works disturb the viewer. These sculpted buttocks are not decorations: they are statements. They speak loudly, they disturb quietly. They ask the real questions:
  • Why this discomfort?

  • Why this censorship of the true body?

  • What if the scandal was simply daring to show?

  • What if being offended by it was the work of stupid people?

✨ Example of work to create:

“Buttocks make the revolution”

Deux fesses sculptées en bronze brut. L’une gravée “Mon cul est critique”, l’autre “Esthétique anarchique”. L’ensemble repose sur une base en forme de socle antique, comme pour mieux renverser l’histoire de l’art.
The work does not seek consensus. It gently strangles it.
