Welcome to my blog, where I share my world as a French sculptor and my vision of contemporary sculpture. You often ask me questions: Why choose abstract and figurative sculpture? Why an online art gallery? Why bronze or resin prints? This is my story, that of a contemporary artist who transforms raw materials into surrealist art, from my artist's studio in Drôme Provençale.
A symbolic sculpture
Sculpture: An Inevitable Passion
I didn't really choose contemporary sculpture—it chose me. After studying painting at the Beaux-Arts and an interest in architecture, it was my love of the medium that led me to become a French sculptor. In my artist's studio in Bouchet, I model clay, carve stone, or cast metal to create bronze or resin sculptures. Each unique work of art is a sensual dialogue with the material, a struggle in which I doubt, persevere, and transform an idea into reality. This process, tinged with passion, reflects my vision of modern art, where sculpture becomes an expression of freedom and love.

A Surrealist, provocative and rebellious sculpture.
My work is rooted in surrealist art, a visual poetry that defies conformity. My abstract and figurative sculptures, often described as iconoclastic, are a response to the overflow of decorative art flooding the art market. In an era where freedom of expression is threatened, my works convey an opinion, a dream, a rebellion. For art collectors and lovers of fine craftsmanship, my sculptures are more than an object: they are an experience or a denunciation, always a struggle.

My sensual sculpture: From Earth to Prints.
My contemporary sculptures are born from clay modeling or direct carving. Once the work is completed, I create a mold for casts in resin or metal sculpture, such as bronze or pewter. Why casts? To make my art accessible to art collectors and enthusiasts who wish to purchase a sculpture without the expense of a unique work of art. Each cast, like my Esculmaux series, is reworked by hand—the more feminine model 53 differs from the more robust model 230. These are not mechanical reproductions, but unique variations.

My Online Contemporary Sculpture Gallery: A Bridge to You.
Making a living from your art is a challenge, especially in today's art market. That's why I created my online art gallery, complementing my presence on platforms like Artsper and Saatchi. This site is a showcase for my contemporary sculptures, but also an invitation to discover my artist's studio in Provence art. After 50 years in Gordes, I am now based in Bouchet, in Drôme Provençale, in the heart of the vineyards of Vacqueyras, Gigondas, and Châteauneuf-du-Pape. My studio is open to visitors: come explore my world, between the Richerenches truffle market and the art exhibitions of the Chorégies d'Orange.
